The Cartier Tank 'Asymétrique' was released in 1996 as part of a limited line of 300, drawing inspiration from the original 'parallelogram' edition that was produced in 1936.
During it's early release, it was often referred to as the drivers watch, as when driving, the slanted nature of the case meant the watch would be upright when driving.
