Essay
Patek Philippe introduced the 2452 in 1949 and was immediately distinguished by its highly attractive fluted lugs giving a striking aesthetic feature to the design. The examples produced from 1949 to 1951 were fitted with the calibre 10-200. While later models contained the calibre 12-400 and were produced in both yellow and rose gold.
The 2452 was discontinued around 1958.
