Movado approached Andy Warhol to create an artwork using a watch as medium. The collaboration between Warhol and the Movado Museum Collection started shortly before his death in 1987 and the watches were released posthumously in 1988. Each dial depicts a different monochrome picture of Warhol’s hometown, New York City.
